Krisztina Koszorus

Krisztina Koszorus ‘Koszika’ is a Transylvanian born and based singer, songwriter, lyricist, composer, violin player and cultural enterpreneur.

She firmly believes in multiculturality and loves ethnic sounds. In her  musical projects she reuses her inherited knowledge of the ethnic groups living in Romania with the classical and jazz education she received, and she mixes styles and genres with ease. Her projects act as a bridge between ethnic groups, styles, cultures and age groups.
Funkylvania functions as a creative space where musicians can create music together. In it’s first season it functioned as a weekly live-video show on youtube, encouraging collaboration between bands. In it’s second season it functioned as a creative camp, where musicians from different ethnic minorities of Romania created music and recorded audio and video on the spot. An important addition to this second season was the launch of a musical multilingual podcast under the name Funkylvania Talks.
