„Ever since my introduction to the local scene of Skopje in 2011, it has become an essential part of my life. I don’t remember when and how it happened I got to go to the Youth Cultural Center in Skopje (the main place for youth and alternative culture in the capital of Macedonia), but it became a second home for me for the past 10 years. I volunteered for international debate tournaments, festivals and large events. I was working a different role that helped me expand my knowledge.

The first project that I started together with a small group of 2 people is called “Youth for Skopje”. In the pandemic year from September 2020 to September 2021 we managed to organize 10 events including a concert from a young local music band and an art exhibit from a young local artist. From the ten bands included, for four of them that was their first concert ever, a fact that makes me really proud.

I wasn’t aware of the opportunity music industry to even be a job on the Balkans until several years ago. I was always obsessed with the local music scene and supporting the young local musicians was a hobby of mine for a long time before I got invested into the music industry as a full-time job.

After having these experiences in working around the cultural scene in Macedonia, in July 2021 I got an offer to work in the Password Production. I already knew about Password Production because they organized my favorite festivals in the country. I didn’t hesitate much and started working in the company right before this years’ edition of D Festival, the biggest outdoor festival in Macedonia.

I see the MOST Management Training as a wonderful opportunity to expand and share my knowledge of the field and giving me an insight of how to make the whole culture scene in the country a better space for all the involved (musicians, festivals, clubs and music professionals).

The music industry and business are fast developing and we have to adapt fast to be in flow with the world practices. Being in touch with what’s happening in the world and implementing all of that in the organizations and festivals I’m working on back in my home country is what I’m hoping to do having the possibility to meet same-minded people in the field of music.”
