Budapest Ritmo has ended, and we are still not over it: the energy was amazing, the concerts were full of life and the audience surely enjoyed themselves. The two MOST-supported artists gave a great concert as well: Rođenice charmed the audience with their all-female a cappella on the first showcase day in Szimpla. Then Divanhana performed on the third day at Akvárium Klub – their mix of signature Bosnian sevdah music, pop and jazz was a perfect way to kick off the night. We caught the two bands for an interview, which you will be able to watch online on our social media once we get our hands on the materials!
Aside from concerts, a huge part of this year’s Ritmo was knowledge-sharing and networking. Our Festival and Club Exchange participants had a chance to meet and present on the second day of the festival. We hope many name cards were exchanged among ideas!
All of whom attended: we hope you returned safely and with great memories – come and see Budapest Ritmo again next year!
