Nika Prusnik & bratje Poljanec

Nika Prusnik & bratje Poljanec form a four-member musical ensemble. The group includes Nika, the vocalist, musician and lyricist, alongside brothers Luka, Nejc, and Jon, all of whom are skilled singers and multi-instrumentalists. They perform songs that Nika created during her explorations of the slovene wilderness. Once fully developed, these songs were presented to the Poljanec brothers, who enhanced them with their expertise in harmony and instrumentation. Through a revival of archetypal themes, the lyrical and musical narratives reflect humanity’s ancient and transient essence, inviting listeners to reconnect with the wilderness, the sacred, and the profound cycles of life and death. In May 2025, they released their debut album, *Ob reki mmmm*, under the ZKP RTV label, coinciding with Nika’s literary debut.
