BAMM – Let’s start 2021 big! Have you been wondering about the Songlines selection CD with the coolest Balkan musicians? The Bridge for Balkan Music Vol. 1 selection album, formerly exclusively distributed as part of Songlines magazine is now available (in almost full length) on the MOST Music Spotify channel!
This selection CD was a great milestone in the MOST Music project – the 10 selected bands and artists got a chance for representation like none other, reaching thousands of international, music-savvy readers of our partner, Songlines. We also happen to think that the album, curated by Simon Broughton, is full of bops and a great listen on cold winter days!
Do check out the channel, as we’ve created two other really high energy, upbeat, hopeful playlists for you to listen to! Our playlists were all carefully curated by the Balázs Weyer, programme director of MOST’s consortium leader, Hangvető, and the MOST project team in Budapest.
The Balkan Vibes playlist is made up of our Balkan Music Export participants’ recordings plus songs by other regional artists they love and recommend. It’s a great trip with traditional tunes infused with a modern experimental mindset.
The Bridge to 2021 playlist was co-produced by our Management Training participants who recommended daring, energetic songs of any genre to help our transition from an unexpectedly dark year towards something lighter and more hopeful.
Enjoy all this great music, let’s kick this year’s ass together!
